Born in Honolulu, Richard Alan Bunch grew up in the Napa Valley. His poetry works include Red Orchids and Daffodils, Third Eye of Nowhere, Running for Daybreak, Summer Hawk, and Rivers of the Sea. He is the author of short stories such as Veiled Interlude, Kismet, Whipped Cream, and Music City Skyline. His plays such as The Russian River Returns and The Fortune-Telling Parrot have appeared in several venues. His poetry has appeared in Poetry Cornwall, Fugue, Potpourri, Windsor Review, Albatross, Slant, Oregon Review, Cape Rock, and the Hawai'i Review.
