About the Author:

Doctor Joseph Uzmack a retired University professor writes novels drawing on his varied background. All his novels have adventures he himself has experienced; the reader must imagine which one. During W.W. II he was a flight engineer on a B29 bomber. At age 17 he drove a mule in a coal mine in Hays, Pennsylvania. He has been a classroom teacher, school principal and superintendent of schools. He was a lab technician for the Celanese Corp. and a taxi cab company owner in Rome. Georgia, a forest ranger and a power shovel operator. He is a master carpenter, cabinet maker and gunsmith. He and his wife of 66 years, Twink, are avid hikers and campers.
