The golf played here is links golf, and the course is shaped by weather as much as by man. The fairways curve amongst gorse and rough windblown grasses, and the bunkers are cut deep into the turf. He is the author of eight books, most recently The Fundamentals of Hogan (with David Leadbetter), and his work has appeared in Golf Digest, Golf Magazine, Esquire, and many other publications around the world. He lives in Toronto and Jupiter, Florida, with his wife, Nell.
