Why parents will love it!
It works! Millions of adults have used Pimsleur to learn second languages. Children learn more than 200 core vocabulary Spanish words. A great value! Children will listen to the program again and again. Appropriate for children from pre-school through first grade: Ages 2-6.
How does Speak Spanish with Dora and Diego work?
Spanish is taught in a completely organic way, similar to how children are learning their native language. New words are introduced and then practiced. Once a word is taught, it's used in different ways, allowing children to adapt their new language skills to everyday situations.
On the CDs, Dora, Diego and Boots speak Spanish. Children learn by repeating the words and phrases aloud. While listening and speaking, children follow along in the books to see what's being described. This allows children to start thinking in Spanish.
Each audio program ends with a sing along session of Spanish children's songs to complete the learning experience.

Dr. Paul Pimsleur devoted his life to language teaching and testing and was one of the world's leading experts in applied linguistics. After years of experience and research, Dr. Pimsleur developed The Pimsleur Method based on two key principles: the Principle of Anticipation and a scientific principle of memory training that he called ?Graduated Interval Recall.?
