Shane P Ward was born in London, UK and, as he stayed there for most of his life, must have figured that here was as good as anywhere else. The only other vestige of consistency is his wife, Sharon, for whom he is eternally grateful that someone could put up with him for so long. Shane has four children and an ever growing number of grandchildren. As an author, Shane has written esoteric nonfiction, a self-help book, his own autobiography (part one, of course) and a book of humorous poetry. He is currently working on ideas for two novels. Shane also composes music, which includes a symphony, various classical works, some contemporary pop and two musicals. He plays violin and piano. In addition, Shane is a student of the esoteric including: Tarot, Numerology, Mundane Astrology and Qabalah. Shane says he will never be pigeon-holed for two reasons; firstly he is not a pigeon and secondly he does not like holes. In fact, Shane has lived outside the box more often than in it, hence the list of attributes above. Small wonder that he believes that doing nothing is rarely an appropriate option. Pragmatic to a fault and yet eternally optimistic, he says that ‘success arrives when failure stops paying attention’ and ‘small opportunities are what big opportunities look like when they are young’. With this in mind, Shane is plugged into the world every waking moment and considers sleep as an inconvenience but apparently necessary to avoid looking like a zombie over the breakfast table.
