About the Author
David Wild is a Contributing Editor to ROLLING STONE and a best-selling author of, among others, FRIENDS: THE OFFICIAL COMPANION (1995). In more recent years, Wild has been active in writing and producing for television and was nominated for an Emmy in 2002. He also hosts his own music and interview series on Bravo.

Die-hard fans might know most of the interesting tidbits--that Monica and Joey were intended to be the show's main couple, not Ross and Rachel, or that Monica and Chandler's romance was supposed to be short-lived--but some of the frank discussions in the interviews (like the other cast members' worries and frustrations over Matthew Perry's long battle with an addiction to painkillers) will intrigue passionate friends fans.
