About the Author

Kindergarten-Grade 2-Double-page spreads feature easy-to-read text on the right and a complementary black-and-white or color photo on the left. Presidency defines the office, duties, and special roles of the vice president and First Lady. Voting briefly explains the election process and how to register to vote, amid some historical perspective. Most of the photos in both books feature elected officials. Each title includes a small section of basic facts and resources. Although they are slim, these simple books fill a need for titles on the topics for this audience.
