Tina Andrews is an award-winning writer, producer, director and visual artist who won the Writers Guild of America award and an NAACP Image award for her CBS miniseries "Sally Hemings An American Scandal." Her nonfiction book on the making of the miniseries won her the NAACP Image award for "Outstanding Achievement in Literary Nonfiction." She also wrote the screenplay for the Warner Brothers film "Why Do Fools Fall in Love?," the CBS miniseries "Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onassis," and "Coretta Scott King." She contributed an essay to The First Time I Got Paid for It: Writers' Tales From the Hollywood Trenches, and her plays "The Mistress of Monticello" and "Buckingham" have been performed across the country. Miss Andrews lives in New York City.
