George L. De Feis is a founder of Strategic Global Ventures - ConsultEd International, Inc. (SGV-ConsultEd ¿ www.sgv-ce.com), and currently serves as its president. Mr. De Feis began his career in 1982 as a civil engineer, and he has since worked in the for-profit and not-for-profit/association fields and as a consultant ¿ he also began teaching in 1996. He served as executive director to a number of not-for-profit agencies, and is currently on the faculty of Pace University, Iona College, and Monroe College. Mr. De Feis has over 20 years of professional experience, covering the fields of association management, education, international affairs, engineering, and conference and exhibit management. He has consulted to the corporate and not-for-profit worlds, and to academia. Mr. De Feis possesses an M.B.A. in finance from Bernard M. Baruch College (CUNY), and a B.E. in civil engineering from The Cooper Union. Mr. De Feis has pursued post-graduate doctoral studies in business policy and strategy at the Graduate School & University Center of CUNY.
His course specialties are Global Business Policy & Strategy, Managerial & Organizational Concepts, Organizational Behavior, Organizational Theory, International Business, Project Management, Entrepreneurism, and Management Science, for which he has recently authored a textbook: Management Science with Spreadsheets: A Practical Approach For Today¿s Business Management Student (Thomson 2004).
