About the Author
A Wyoming native and former Coloradan, Ron Franscell is the author of The Sourtoe Cocktail Club and Crime Buff's Guide to Outlaw Texas (both Globe Pequot Press), as well as the bestselling The Darkest Night (previously released in hardcover as Fall), which established him as one of the most provocative new voices in narrative nonfiction. He lives in San Antonio, Texas.
