Iris McCarthy is a food writer and blogger in the Greater Philadelphia region who has long held a passion for writing and food culture.  Having spent almost a decade in corporate America, she left to pursue her writing career full-time and hasn't looked back since.  Currently, Iris pens articles for the popular regional publications that focus on telling the stories of the movers and shakers behind the region's lively culinary scene.  In addition, she also contributes to a host of culinary blogs and catalogs.
