Daisy Dog goes to her doghouse for an afternoon snooze. But somebody's there already, and sound asleep. Kids look at the opening illustration and see a pig's tail sticking out through the doorway. When they lift a flap that covers half of the picture, they see the entire pig, just as Daisy chases him out. Next, it's Snorter Pig's turn to go home--but he finds a duck in his bed--hiding behind the next half-page flap. On following pages, the duck finds a rabbit . . . the rabbit finds a squirrel . . . the squirrel finds a mouse . . . the mouse finds a cat . . . the cat finds a puppy . . . and the puppy goes home to the doghouse, where he finds--Mommy! Mommy, of course, is Daisy Dog. Kids will enjoy following the story and lifting flaps to find an animal snoozing beneath each one. (Ages 2-5)

Lift a half-page flap in the paper-over-board Who's That by Isobel Gamble, illus. by Tim Warnes, and discover who is snoozing beneath each one. The farmyard animals are resting in all the wrong places, and each spread offers a picture or textual clue (e.g., Racer Rabbit "spotted a bushy tail sticking out" a squirrel). In the end, all the animals find their own homes.
