An engrossing tale of two stubborn lost souls finding themselves through each other (and the debut book from this delicious writer). I came into the (unair-cinditioned) office one summer Saturday intent on pushing through a lot of paperwork. Instead I picked up the manuscript for this book for "just a quick peek" and wound up spending the entire afternoon caught up in this story of unexpected love in the Alaskan wilderness - a wonderful book and a memorable afternoon.
