Saddened by her broken engagement and the difficulties of her family owned computer business, Maddie Winston escapes to her grandmther's bed and breakfast in the Florida Keys. While walking the beach she finds a bottle washed onto the shore and begins to scrub the tarnished metal. Imagine her surprise when the top pops off and smoke rises, forming into a hunky genie who announces that her wish is his command. Maddie is so disbelieving, she leaves the man and his 'magic' bottle and returns to New York to start rebuilding her life.
When she arrives back in her apartment and begins to unpack, she finds the bottle in her suitcase. More than annoyed, she tosses it down the garbage chute. The next day, it shows up in her briefcase and this time she's forced to admit something screwy is happening.
She polishes the bottle again, not quite believing the coconut-headed hunk will show up, but he does, and that's when the fun begins. Follow Maddie and Ben on their magic carpet ride to adventure and true love.

This is the first of three fairy tale romances I'm writing for Kensington. My second book, a poignant yet humorous ghost story of lovers united by breaking a one hundred year old curse, will be next. The third book tells the tale of a pirate who falls asleep, much like Rip Van Winkle, and awakens to find himself in the twenty-first century.
I hope you enjoy reading these books of my heart as much as I enjoyed writing them.About the Author:
I was born in Illinois, lived in New Jersey for twenty-six years and now make my home in Texas. These three totally different cultures have enabled me to incorporate a variety of insights and humor into my work. I've also been an elite level women's gymnastic judge for over twenty years.
And I have this promise for my readers: all my heroines will be real women with a woman's strenghts, weaknesses and humor, and not one of them will have a waist that can be spanned by her hero's hands.
In my other life, the one not entrenched in fairy tales, I have a loving husband, two grown daughters, two adorable dogs and a wonderful career. Oops, I take it back. I'm living a fairy tale and I love it.
