The late Alex Dunne was the United States Chess Federation correspondence chess director, author of more than a dozen chess books and frequent contributor to Chess Life. He was a FIDE Master, Life Master and ICCF Correspondence Chess Master. He lived in Sayre, Pennsylvania.
