This intermediate to advanced-level book is intended for the serious rock drummer. It demonstrated the obvious benefits of being a versatile percussionist. The author asserts that creative drummers come up with new and exiting patterns from having studied various styles of music; those that exert a lasting influence seem to be constantly aware of styles that could influence their own music. The book includes ten charts, each representative of a rock style that you will surely encounter as you progress as a musician. A companion CD recording of all the charts is included.
