About the Author
Mike Hiland has been playing electric bass for over 20 years. He has studied privately under Jeff Berlin ("Allan Holdsworth"), Alain Caron ("UZEB"), Gary Scott ("Cher"), Dann Glenn ("BIT"), and author Jay Freidman, as well as studying at the Grove School of Music in Los Angeles. Well versed in four, five and six string bass, Mike has been teaching privately for over 10 years and has authored several popular bass books for Mel Bay Publications.
