The Great Harmonia was written from 1851 to 1861. Volume One The Physician; Volume Two The Teacher; Volume Three The Seer; Volume Four The Reformer; Volume Five The Thinker. The five book set reveals how the living spirit is individualized at birth - how that individualized spark of the divine spirit subsists in and controls the soul or immortal spirit body of ultra refined substance or matter, which grows with and interpenetrates every cell of the physical body and even reveals how the individualized spirit, with its soul body is born into a higher realm! By the senses, your spirit perceives the characters hereon impressed, and thereby forms an acquaintance with mine for by these characters my spirit expresses its inner thoughts, which thus come in contact with your spiritual perception. Volume Two, The Teacher, most of its contents refer especially to the common themes and interests of every-day life. Says Davis "Spontaneous and profound questions are living representatives of Internal Desires; but to obtain and enjoy those pure and beautiful responses, which are intrinsically elevating and eternal, the Inquirer should consult not superficial and popular Authorities, but the everlasting and unchangeable teachings of Nature, Reason, and Intuition." In volume Four, The Reformer, it is believed that while the first portion of this volume will tend to save many of both sexes from destruction, the concluding lectures will do much toward giving right views of marriage and parentage; thus, the entire work will act powerfully in the direction of mankind's regeneration and happiness. In 1861 he wrote The Thinker a book sent forth as others in the series have been with a hope on the part of its author that "good to some and harm to none" will result from its perusal.
