An 'as new' copy of this first facsimile edition of 'a collection of mysterious arts and remedies for man as well as animals with many proofs of their virtue and efficacy in healing diseases. The greater part of which was never published until they appeared in print for the first time in the US in the year 1820'. No Dust Jacket (as issued). Cover: pictorial, laminated card with deep burgundy lettering and roundel with owl and book to front, and burgundy lettering to spine and rear, all on a pink mottled background; very bright and clean; no creasing to spine; no sign of shelf wear; generally in excellent, as new, condition. Internally: very clean and tightly; no inscriptions; pp144/5 has crease to top outer corner (looks as though made as part of manufacture); looks unread. Appears to consist of 84 pp. of the 'Pow-wows', followed by and eccentrically paginated section entitle, 'Modern Magic' which appears to be about card tricks.
