1896 Translated from the Slavonic by W.R. Morfill. Edited, with introductory notes & indices by R. H. Charles, M.A., Trintiy college, Dublin & Exeter college, Oxford. (1896). The Secrets of Enoch is one of the books left out of the bible and contained in The Lost Books of the Bible and the Forgotten Books of Eden. As far as is known, this was preserved only in Slavic. This new fragment of Enochic literature has only recently come to light through certain MSS., which were found in Russia and Serbia. This is not in any sense a version of the older and well known Book of Enoch. The Slavonic Enoch in its present form was written somewhere about the beginning of the Christian Era.
