Robert J. Elder has served churches in New Jersey, Texas, and Oregon during more than three decades in parish ministry. He was the pastor for 20 years of First Presbyterian Church in Salem, Oregon. Elder is the author of Restoring the Future (CSS), and his sermons and articles have appeared in numerous periodicals, including Christian Century, Pulpit Digest, Lectionary Homiletics, Preaching Great Texts, Clergy Journal, Christian Ministry, Reformed Worship, and Presbyterian Outlook. He is a graduate of Trinity University (B.A.), Princeton Theological Seminary (M.Div.), and Drew University Theological School (D.Min.).
John Smylie is the rector of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Casper, Wyoming. Previously he served as the dean of the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Spokane, Washington. Smylie is a storyteller and singer-songwriter as well as a priest, and he has a broad range of experience in parish ministry, having served in rural, suburban, and urban settings. He is a regular contributor to the online service StoryShare sermonsuite.com, and is also a co-author of Christian Parenting (Upper Room). John recently completed Grace for Today, a collection of 25 stories that explores how grace, loss, and restoration are part of the same fabric.
Kristin Borsgard Wee is currently the pastor of Nativity Lutheran Church (ELCA) in Weeki Wachee, Florida. In addition to previously serving pastorates in Iowa and Minnesota, Wee has been the Director of Mentor Development at Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota. She is an accomplished bassoonist with music degrees from St. Olaf College (B.A.) and the Manhattan School of Music (M.M.), and she also holds an M.Div. degree from Wartburg Theological Seminary. Wee is the author of God Calls a People to Faithful Living (Augsburg Fortress) and Formed By a Dream (CSS).
Robert Leslie Holmes has served large Presbyterian churches in six states and taught preaching, worship, and pastoral leadership on six continents as well as throughout North America. He is the author of seven books and numerous articles in professional journals, and he can be heard each week on the LifePlus radio program across 38 states and the eastern half of Canada. Holmes holds a Ph.D. degree in communication and a D.Min. degree in pastoral psychology. A native of Belfast, Northern Ireland, Holmes now resides in Augusta, Georgia, where he is pastor of Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church.
Steven Molin is the senior pastor of Our Savior's Lutheran Church (ELCA) in Stillwater, Minnesota. He has also served parishes in Oregon and South Dakota, and been an area director for the youth ministry organization Young Life. Molin is the author of the CSS titles Forty Letters to a New Dad, A Faith for All Seasons, and Journey of Stones. He is a graduate of Concordia University (St. Paul, Minnesota) and Luther Theological Seminary.
