She covers investing in annuities, bonds, IRAs, stocks, mutual funds, gold, buying a home or a car, commodities trading, life insurance, and much more. The section on the stock market is particularly insightful. Savage cautions against get-rich-quick schemes: if it's too good to be true, then expect to lose your shirt. The book may not turn a reader into a Bernard Baruch or J. P.
