About the Author:
When her husband died after a prolonged illness, author VIRGINIA WATTS SMITH was left with four children to raise and educate. She received a B.A. in Philosophy Religion from Spring Arbor College and served for five years as Assistant Dean of Students at Moody Bible Institute. In 1977 she married Dr. Donald Smith. Chairman of Pastoral Studies and Evangelism majors at Moody. Following a miraculous recovery from a near-fatal cardiac arrest in 1978, Mrs. Smith now spends her time writing and lecturing.
