ENJOYING INTIMACY WITH GOD
“We cannot read the biographies or come within the orbit of great men and women of God, who so obviously enjoy intimacy with Him, without wistfully desiring to share such an experience. It is an incontrovertible fact that some Christians seem to experience a much closer intimacy with God than others . . . Are there secrets we may discover that would admit us to a similar intimacy? Our aim will be to answer that question.” –J. Oswald SandersDo you desire greater intimacy with God? Do you wonder why some Christians seem to be so much closer to Him than others? With Scripture and relevant biblical examples, J. Oswald Sanders shows how we are the ones who ultimately determine the degree of intimacy achieved with our Lord and Savior. It is we who determine the vibrancy and depth of this relationship. If you seek a more intimate relationship with the heavenly Father, you won’t find a better guide than J. Oswald Sanders. Chapters include: Four Circles of Intimacy with God; Intimacy Is Nourished by Worship; Intimacy Is Preceded by Cleansing; Intimacy Can Be Restored; Intimacy Involves Walking in the Spirit; Intimacy Is Deepened by Discipline; Intimacy Produces Spiritual Maturity; Intimacy Implies Discipleship; Intimacy Prevents Discouragement About the Author:
