About the Authors

Douglas J. Brouwer is a retired Presbyterian pastor who served churches in Pennsylvania, Illinois, Michigan, Florida, and Zürich, Switzerland. His other books include Remembering the Faith: What Christians Believe and How to Become a Multicultural Church.

Wesley Granberg-Michaelson has served as General Secretaryof the Reformed Church in America since 1994. He was thefirst managing editor of Sojourners magazine andhas also worked with the World Council of Churches,Christian Churches Together in the USA, the GlobalChristian Forum, and Call to Renewal.
