This edition updates this classic atlas, with numerous maps grounding its analysis of American involvement on all fronts in World War I a war eclipsed in coverage by World War II and the Civil War. It also follows the development of military theory and practice from the prewar to League of Nations period. Includes a chronology of events, recommended reading list, but no index.
