Doug Murren is a speaker, coach and consultant to churches and organizations. He is a graduate of Seattle Pacific University. He led for several years the eighth fastest growing church in the United States. The church grew from his living room with ten people to 4,500 a.m. attendance and an aggregate of 8,000 adherents. Doug is the director of Square One Ministries and the Murren Group which offers coaching for churches and organizations. Doug’s ministry has taken him to Australia, South Africa, England, Germany, Poland, the former Soviet Union, Ukraine, Haiti, Belgium, France, Canada, Austria and the former Yugoslavia. He has an expressed interest in church planting and evangelism. He has coached nearly every denomination in the U.S. on outreach and evangelism. Doug is the author of fifteen books. His writings include the seminal book on Baby Boomers in church life titled, The Baby Boomerang. Doug continues to write on a variety of topics and genres. Doug is a favorite speaker of many in conferences and seminar settings. Doug is a member of the Apostolic Council of the International Communion of Evangelical Churches. He is also directing a church plant in Orlando, Florida for ICEC from the mother campus of Hope Christian Church in Beltsville Maryland led by Bishop Harry Jackson Jr.
