The recipes here would fit any number of occasions, but are arranged in "sleepover order." Beginning with "Starter Snacks," Warshaw proceeds to dinners, "Sacktime Snacks," breakfasts, and brunch, and then concludes with a special section of "Birthday Surprises." The treats are easy to prepare, some incorporating ready-to-use ingredients like canned soup and refrigerated biscuit dough. Each recipe begins with a list of supplies and a difficulty rating. "Chewy Pretzel Letters," "Creative Crepes," "Biscuit-Bite Pizza," "Fundue," "Confetti Taco Salad," and "Fluffy S'mores" all are fun to make and eat. Bold color photographs highlight almost every spread, with sleepovers pictured for boys and for girls. Ethnic representation is balanced, and a girl with Down's syndrome is included.
