About the Author:

Sheryl L. Rowling, Certified Public Accountant, Personal Financial Specialist and Managing Partner of Rowling, Dold & Associates LLP, has been providing fee-only tax and financial planning advice since 1979. Previously, she managed tax departments at Arthur Young & Company and two multi-million dollar corporations. Sheryl works closely with individual and business clients, assisting them in determining whether and how their goals may be achieved through the proper management of financial resources. Sheryl has been named one of the nation's top 250 financial advisors by Worth magazine for three consecutive years. She is a member of the tax and financial planning divisions of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), member of the Association of CPA Financial Planners, member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors, and a member of the All-Star Financial Group (premier organization of CPA Personal Financial Specialists). Sheryl holds an M.B.A. in Finance and a B.S. in Accounting from San Diego State University.
