Using composites of pictures she has taken all over the world, actress-photographer Lollobrigida here creates a dazzling album of what she calls ``new images...different from day-to-day reality'' in a kind of environmental crusade invoking the universal curiosity and innocence of children. Her surrealist pageant features a little girl crouching under an enormous daisy, another cringing before a bee as big as a dog, one boy riding a lily pad, another shinnying up the neck of an ostrich. Essays by three Italian authors (Carlo Rubbia, Fulcorratesi, Ernesto Caffo) urge a more childlike philosophy to save planet Earth. Wise sayings from Mark Twain to Mother Teresa do not relate directly to the 167 fantasy-photos they accompany, or even to childhood itself, something of a failure if the whole work were not so refreshing and colorful.
