Lorna Simpson is one of the leading artists of her generation, devoted to the beauty of image-making, innovatively juxtaposing the figure and gesture with text and narrative. Okwui Enwezor is dean of academic affairs at the San Francisco Art Institute.
Helaine Posner is adjunct curator of exhibitions at the American Federation of Arts. She lives in New York City.
Hilton Als is a staff writer for The New Yorker. He lives in New York City.
Isaac Julien is a London-based film and video artist.
