Review:

“A seminal work of simply outstanding scholarship, International Studies is strongly recommended for professional, governmental, and academic library ... reference collections and supplemental reading lists.” —Bookwatch

“A powerful assessment perfect for any classroom discussion.” —The Midwest Book Review

Praise for the Previous Edition: “Everyone agrees that international studies should be interdisciplinary, but almost no one knows how to teach that on their own. An innovative collaboration between professors of anthropology, economics, geography, history and political science, this book is fundamentally driven by the importance of interdisciplinary work. The combination of its overview chapters on all five of these disciplines as well as its comprehensive regional approach and contemporary focus on specific global issues should appeal to anyone teaching an introduction to international studies course.” —Scott Pegg, Director of the International Studies Program, IUPUI
