Day trading. It’s fast, it’s furious – and, without the right knowledge, it can be fatal to your finances.
The lure of making a living—maybe even a fortune – is beckoning thousands of online investor novices into the treacherous realm of day trading. Sadly, many of these fortune hunters are in for a rude – and expensive – awakening, because day trading is not for dilettantes. In fact, more than 80% and perhaps 90% of inexperienced day traders lose their shirts!
DAY TRADING ON THE EDGE takes a penetrating look at this radical investing technique – both the good and the bad – and gives readers all the information they need to determine if the day-trading roller coaster is right for them. Packed with practical advice, realistic viewpoints and keen insights, this book explains:

About the Author
Leslie N. Masonson (Monroe, NY) is president of Cash Management Resources, a cash management consulting firm. He has over 35 years of investing experience in all types of investment vehicles, and uses technical analysis to day trade the equities markets from home. Mr. Masonson has a BBA in Finance and Investments from the City College of New York and an MBA in Operations Research from The Bernard M. Baruch College. He is also a Certified Cash Manager. From Booklist:
The notion of day trading for beginners may be something of an oxymoron because, as Masonson emphasizes, day trading should be considered only by experienced investors who are willing to assume a great deal of risk. Masonson is a consultant specializing in cash management and the author of Cash, Cash, Cash: The Three Principles of Business Survival and Success (1990). He is also a successful day trader. Unlike others who have touted the get-rich-quick possibilities of day trading, Masonson fills his advice with caveats. For those determined to take the plunge, he lays out the basic principles and key rules of day trading. He also spells out the advantages and disadvantages of using a day trading firm versus trading from home. He details the attributes of successful traders using a survey of 200 persons and includes interviews with 11 traders and 6 trading firm CEOs. In addition, seven "pro's" have contributed chapters to this straightforward guide. David Rouse
