The author comes to grips early with the central theme of this book when he asks, ``Is business ethics a contradiction in terms?'' Tuleja's answer is ``no,'' and he bases his response upon, among other things, interviews with executives from 15 of the most progressive (i.e., socially enlightened) organizations in the United States. These companies have shown that they can be ``good guys'' and still earn a healthy profit. While this book covers much of the same territory sketched in basic business ethics textbooks, the author's style is crisp and he focuses upon many of the ethical issues central to the business practitionerbribery, whistle blowing, investment in South Africa, etc. Recommended.
