Review:

«Priscilla H. Machado Zotti has done for Dollree Mapp what Anthony Lewis in Gideon’s Trumpet did for Clarence Gideon. A riveting tale, well told, of a landmark Supreme Court decision that will engage legal scholars and all interested in the law.» (David O’Brien, Leone Reaves and George W. Spicer Professor, University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Virginia)
«A riveting account of the drama behind one of the U.S. Supreme Court’s most celebrated landmarks in criminal justice. Readers will discover a compelling cast of characters from the earnest cop to the streetwise moll to the contentious justices of the historic Warren Court – all brought to life by Zotti’s painstaking research and colorful descriptions.» (Barbara Perry, Carter Glass Professor and Chair, Sweet Briar College, Sweet Briar, Virginia)
