Jesse McAllister is an undercover agent for Wells Fargo working to track down the men who have been robbing the stages. Following a lead that points to a place called Fantasy's in Tombstone Arizona, Jesse is surprised to find that Fantasy is a mother of a five year old boy and runs a respectable rooming house. Fantasy Williams is indeed running a respectable place, but she is also unknowingly involved with the robbers as they are working out of her rooming house and she is carrying money and stolen merchandise from point to point. Jesse moves into Fantasy's and soon learns much about the goings on as well as about Fantasy herself. Wanting to see each other, but not wanting people to talk, Jesse soon moves into his own place. Shortly after, a fire breaks out in town and Fantasy's burns down. Secrets are soon revealed in the case of the stage robbers, but Fantasy and Jesse have their own secrets and fear that unless they trust each other unquestioningly, they will loose their chance at love.Ms. Holliday keeps the action moving without overdoing the amount of events. She uses her imagination rather than coincidence or clichés to keep the characters and situation moving forward. Ms. Holliday's second novel confirms the new talent we first experienced in Wild Texas Blossom! Engaging, heartwarming, a true romantic! Relive an old west and a new love through the pen of Arlene Holliday!Claire Haynes -- Copyright © 1994-97 Literary Times, Inc. All rights reserved -- From Literary Times
