Grade 1-3 Gackenbach's half dozen rhymes in this addition to the tongue twister collection are spoiled, at times, by text and art that do not match. The "fish" with a grin who pulls the young fisher named Fisher into the Wisher is a porpoisea mammal, not a fish. The fishermen "fishing" for Fisher are not pictured as doing anything to rescue the drowning boy. The characters generally have an unpleasantness to themthe children especially are pictured as scowling and troublesome. It's a pity, as the rhymes are fun and the illustrations colorful.
