About the Author:

Lum has written articles on Hawaii's Chinese for magazines in China and Hong Kong. She was born in China and graduated from St. John's University in Shanghai.

Lum was manager of Lum and Feher, Ltd., Honolulu. He was a printer and commercial artist.
