This is a comprehensive publication of fifty-two graded duets. Clark has drawn on his extensive experience as a school music teacher and a prominent composer/arranger to create a collection of duets that will be useful in a variety of performances. Playing duets is an excellent way for the student to build ensemble skills with a colleague or teacher. This collection is part of a repertoire that will provide players with refreshing new duets.

"This well-edited collection includes 52 short duets for two flutes, 3 of which are by Larry Clark and the remainder by C.P.E. Bach, Gariboldi, Bach, Couperin, Beethoven, Kohler, and others. Both parts are of similar difficulty in each duet, and melodies are given to both voices to retain interest. Pieces rarely go beyond two sharps/four flats, are in common meters, and have a range from C4 to A6. It is an excellent volume for students for sight reading in lessons with teachers or to prepare with their musical peers and is a worthy addition to other collections of this level. The variety of duets is stimulating, as they are newly-composed, arrangements from Classical composers, or traditional favorites." --Flute Talk, June 2008
