Notes, pp. 203-218; Index, pp. 219-2 Format is a translation of distinguished philosopher on "Animal Philosophy", followed by a critique of that passage (some, like Nietzsche's, brief); Uncritiqued essay by Luce Irigaray at end of book, "Animal Compassion", pp. 195-201. Notes, pp. Shiny wrappers with color photo-portrait of three black and white chickens (detail), sitting on a fence rail with green wire fencing below and reaching down to lovely green grass; title lettering in large white letters at lower left front cover; editor names and contributor names in a column at top left front cover.
