When Ellen White died, she left thousands of pages of personal letters, diary material, sermons, and articles that supplemented topics treated in her published writings. She left these materials in the custody of designated trustees, with the expectation tut they might be of value in the future as the church faced new and complex challenges.
Every year since 1941, previously unpublished material has been released by the the trustees for general circulation as requested by church workers and others who have researched in the manuscript files.
The manuscript releases cover a wide range of subjects form biblical commentary and devotional items to counsel regarding family life or the management institutions.
