He serves on the faculty of Talbot School of Theology at Biola University and is former director of their Graduate Department of Marriage, Family and Child Counseling. He is the best-selling author of more than 70 books, including Communication: Key to Your Marriage, Quiet Times for Couples and Always Daddy's Girl. He is a member of the Academy of Bereavement, Critical Incident Stress Foundation, The Association of Traumatic Stress Specialists and a board member of The Victim Chaplain Association.
