About the Author
The First Place program is the result of a godly desire placed in the hearts of a group of Christians to establish a Christ-centered weight control program. This program was established in the fall of 1979 at First Baptist Church of Houston, Texas and has affected thousands of lives as it guides participants to give Christ first place in their lives and attain spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically balanced lives.
