The author feels that problem of Africa is the African but he acknowledges the mounting evidence that there is a European problem that is just as complex and equally intractable. Centered mostly on Rhodesia, it was hoped that the new constitution would bring racial harmony between white nationalism in the South and black nationalism in the North. Without a true partnership, the relations of the races have grown increasingly bitter due to problems of adjustment and on the part of the British Government. The advancements brought to the region by Western civilization will be for naught without the willing cooperation of the African people. This book is about the problems the two races face that must be reconciled to achieve some situation that will avoid outright warfare. A clean pristine copy. Seller Inventory # 010970
