About the Author:

Rose Zertuche Treviño is a consultant in the area of services for youth. She developed the first bilingual Born to Read program and has presented Born to Read workshops throughout the country. She is the editor of The Pura Belpré Awards: Celebrating Latino Authors and Illustrators (American Library Association, 2006).
