Neatly and legibly siigned by the author on the first free endpage, without inscription. No spine lean but the spine is cracked at the title page which is partially detached. First dozen leaves have a lower right corner that is creased about 1/4" from the tip. The rest of the pages are clean and undamaged. Gray cloth covers are completely clean. The bottom tip of the front cover and bottom tip of the back cover are each lightly bumped and heavily worn (to the boards). One small dent to the top edge of the front cover. The dust jacket is just very lightly soiled, but has several chips, tears and creases. Book and dust jacket will be bubble-wrapped and carefully packed in a sturdy box to ensure safe transit.
