Dr Brian Crichton became a GP principal in 1993. In 1996 he became a GP trainer, and in 2002 an undergraduate teacher, in the Department of General Practice at Warwick University Medical School, where he is now an honorary senior lecturer. He is one of the prescribing advisers to the RCGP and has publications in many different areas of prescribing. Further to this he is a passionate GP educationalist and has lectured locally, nationally and internationally on therapeutics and prescribing issues.
