Pertinent associations like art schools, artist's groups, and art societies appear in the artist entries in capitals, referring readers to entries of their own. As a brief guide to a discrete period in contemporary art history, this book could be useful in large general collections for quick reference on genre, styles, and dates, but it offers little scholarly depth.
