Signed by Rowley Richards for Sir David Griffin who was the author of "The Happiness Box" & "Changi Days- The Prisoner as a Poet". The "The Happiness Box", was suspected by the Japanese as containing coded messages, as the lizard in the story was called "Winston" and was buried in the camp to prevent it's destruction, and was dug up in 1945. 16 pages of photos in centre of book. Covers have some shelf wear, spine is very slightly cocked. There is some bumping to corners Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 232 pages. Dust Jacket un-clipped. Quantity Available: 1.
