Synopsis
A deck of playing cards featuring 52 different vintage Santa Claus images. High-quality printing and lamination. The images are reproduced from vintage, pre-WWI Santa postcards.
During the Golden Era of Christmas Cards (1898-1918), those featuring Santa were by far the most popular.
The rare examples contained herein utilized a resplendent, German printing technique known as chromolithography. Each season, both young and old, “oohed” and “ahhed” over the wintry holiday's new and colorful offerings.

About the Author
Monte Beauchamp is an award winning art director and graphic designer, and founder of the graphics-illustration-comics anthologies BLAB! and BLAB WORLD. He has served as a juror for American Illustration, The Society of Illustrators, Communication Arts, and Lürzer's Archive magazine. In 2012 he was awarded The Society of Illustrators prestigious Richard Gangel Art Director Award for outstanding contributions in promoting and advancing the art of illustration.
